"There are three mental states that interest me", said Amanda, turning to the lizard doorknob. They are: one, amnesia; two euphoria; three ecstasy."

The really big pictures I generally get from online, right click the image and paste the url into the blogger picture uploader. (That sounds like a ridiculous mess of nonsense.)
Sometimes I just manually make them larger, but then they lose resolution..
Also depends on the template settings you have. I have a template which allows large posts, therefore larger pictures.
Hope that helps, sorry its a novel.
